On February 19,2006, Kjetil Andre Aamodt reached another remarkable summit in his skiing career,
14 years after becoming the youngest alpine skier to win on Olympic gold medal,
he become the oldest alpine skier ever to win on Olympic gold medal.

Aamodt (born September 2, 1971 in Oslo, Norway) is one of the best all-round alpine skiers ever,
only a few skiers in history have won World Cup races in all five alpine skiing disciplines.
At the mere age of 22, the gifted Kjetil, reached the pinnacle of his sport,
capturing the overall World Cup title. In his career, he has eight Olympic medals,
including three super-G gold medals and has won 5 world championship gold medals as well as 21 individual World Cup events.
