Hans Knauss

Born February 9, 1971 in Schladming, Austria and raised in Schladming,
learnt to ski at a very early age and soon discovered his passion for downhill racing.
He won his first World Cup in 1995 in Alta Badia, followed by a further six (Abfahrt, Super-G, Riesentorlauf),
one of them being the Kitzbühler-Streif (1999).
He won medals at the World Championships and the Olympics.

Hans quit competing in 2004 but since accompanies the ORF as co-commentator through the season.
He still needs to get his fill for speed, which he gets racing in the FIA GT3.
